Basset Hound Club of Greater Detroit — I'm the current president of this club for Basset Hound owners in southeast Michigan.

The Daily Drool — An Internet e-mail list and bulletin board, The Daily Drool allows members to post questions about their bassets and receive responses from other basset owners. The site is free to join.

Basset Hound Rescue of Michigan — The rescue group for basset hounds here in Michigan; I have personally been involved with the group.

ABC Basset Rescue — One of the most successful rescue groups in the country at finding bassets their "forever" homes; based out of western New York State, but places dogs throughout the region.

BAGS Basset Rescue — Specializes in senior basset hounds in need of homes; based in Minerva, Ohio.

The Queen & I Bed & Breakfast — This delightful bed & breakfast is located in an 1873 Italianate home on 28 acres outside Crawfordsville, Indiana. Heritage turkeys and guinea fowl are also raised on the charming estate, where owners Isaac and Holly Hook will make you feel right at home. Also there to greet you are resident basset hounds Uno, Madam (Ch. Renaissance Juliana) and Clyde (Renaissance Golden Emperor).

Dan Hall — Singer-songwriter Dan Hall has been called "a Randy Newman-class songwriter with a great voice." He's also part of the Renaissance Bassets family, since he and his wife, Jill, were the owners of Wheeler (Ch. Renaissance Four Wheel Drive). Check out his website and listen to some of his music.
