Basset Hound Club of America — BHCA is the national breed club for basset hounds, and its website is full of information about the breed and whether a basset is the right dog for you. The website also contains results from the national specialty show sponsored by the club every year in October.

Basset Hound Club of Greater Detroit — BHC of Greater Detroit is the regional BHCA club. I'm the club's current president, and the website will let you know about all of the club's activities.

Basset Hound Club of Canada — The national breed club in Canada, of which I am also a member.

The Daily Drool — An Internet e-mail list and bulletin board, The Daily Drool allows members to post questions about their bassets and receive responses from other basset owners. The site is free to join.

Basset Hound Rescue of Michigan — The rescue group for basset hounds here in Michigan; I have personally been involved with the group.

ABC Basset Rescue — One of the most successful rescue groups in the country at finding bassets their "forever" homes; based out of western New York State, but places dogs throughout the region.

BAGS Basset Rescue — Specializes in senior basset hounds in need of homes; based in Minerva, Ohio.

Dan Hall — Singer-songwriter Dan Hall has been called "a Randy Newman-class songwriter with a great voice." He's also part of the Renaissance Bassets family, since he and his wife, Jill, were the owners of Wheeler (Ch. Renaissance Four Wheel Drive). Check out his website and listen to some of his music.
